This shield was donated to the Association by the Allan family in memory of David who was an Honorary Vice President of Caithness Amateur Football Association. David was a generous sponsor of Caithness football and played his football with Thurso Acks and Castletown as well as winning County honours against Sutherland and Orkney. |
This cup was donated to Halkirk AFC by his family in memory of Eain, who tragically died as a result of a road traffic accident in 1985. Eain started of his County football playing for Thurso Pentland AFC before moving on to HalkirkAFC, also representing Caithness at u18 and senior level. Up unto1994 the cup was played for in a 5 a side tournament before becoming a knockout competition with C.A.F.A. in 1998 and is presented to the winning captain every year by Eain’s mother Mary. |
Donated by Murdo Steven, this cup is contested for by all Division 2 teams at the end of each season. |
